Miles - 7/8/2020

Miles was not interested in breakfast - whole wheat toast and mangoes.  He took a morning nap and when he woke up he drank 1.5 ounces.  I fed him sweet potatoes with Infant oatmeal and 4 ounces of Mommy Milk.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon outside.  Isn't this cute?!?  He's peeking under the climber to check out everything.  What do you see Miles!  Probably more bugs.  Yesterday I took away a dead spider he was about to sample for flavor.  :)

Next picture: Miles was crawling across the room with some vegetable (from the food toys) in his mouth!  In the following picture he offered it to Cal, but was kind of surprised when Cal actually took it!!  That always makes me laugh; at that age they hold it out, but don't really want or expect you to take it.

Last picture: Miles was playing at this gate again; he's in this vicinity every day!  Look at him grinning.  He noticed I was watching him and he started grinning all over the place.  :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well.
