Miles - 7/9/2020

Miles had a few bites of French toast for breakfast.  He drank about 1.5 ounces and I fed him apple/avocado with cereal and 4 ounces of milk.  He ALWAYS get real excited when he sees me coming with his bottle and then will drink a maximum of 1.5 ounces.  Ha!  He's probably just messing with me.  Haha.

At breakfast this morning Atley asked Nora, "When is he gonna be 4 and go to swim lessons?"  Nora immediately said, "Oh, in a couple of weeks."  And she spoke with great authority.  Haha.  That answer apparently made total sense to Atley.

Avilene loves the little people.  Here's a picture of her and Miles from yesterday afternoon when she was putting her cap on him.  Then in the second picture she is greeting him after arriving from swim lessons.

Next picture;  Cal, Svea, Miles, and a lamb huddling up.  This was right after Miles woke from his morning nap.  I'm not sure what they're doing here, but I know there's a good chance this is a conspiratorial meeting to take control of Little Treasures.  :)

Last picture: I had the cutest picture from outside yesterday that would complement this one perfectly, but my computer did not like that picture!!  Oh well, I just wanted to comment about this because Miles goes in the igloo every day and he seems to like small places.  I've seen lots of kids that love the tight places and lots of kids who absolutely do not!!

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well.
