Miles - 8/11/2020

There will be no Blogs today.  I have a 12:30 appointment and Lauralea will be covering for me. Blogs will resume tomorrow the 12th.

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles. Miles - 08/23/2022

Miles ate two servings of toasted raisin/cinnamon English muffin and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate no chicken, ate some whole wheat elbow noodles, a few green beans, and ate his mandarin oranges. We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange and Miles is thrilled that the Airplanes are "finally" out. He's been asking about them for a few weeks. In the second picture he was pushing the "GO" button on the battery powered Police Car and saying, "Go Sucker!" Lauralea accused me of having too much influence on the children's speech!! Haha. You're welcome.  Next picture; Svea was still eating/finishing her breakfast when Miles brought over an activity from this toy exchange. He likes the battery-powered drill and knows how to put the bolts in and reverse them out. Following picture: This was pretty funny: Avi thought she was gonna "teach" Miles how to play "Crazy Eights." That was a pretty short-lived activity. Hah...

Miles - 12/28/2020

Miles ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch he ate tilapia, half of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate green beans, and applesauce.  Atley was at the window and Miles walked from the mattress to the window without stopping or going down!  Atley yelled; "Look at Miles!! How did you do that!?!"  She added; "He walked all the way from the mattress to here!!"  She was obviously impressed.  Haha.  So was I. First picture:  Miles was doing his tricks and yelling for me to look at him!!  "Watch me Gary, watch me Gary!!"  Little Cutie.  Second picture;  The four girls were on the mattress with the "Nelson Blankets" and Miles was crawling around there as well, but he managed to not get yelled at!!  Ha.  These last two pictures go together.  Miles was playing with a little table from the small doll house toys. He found a perfect hole to fit it into and it looked like it gave him lots of satisfaction. ...
