Miles - 8/25/2020

Miles ate half of whole wheat English muffin and most of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate chicken, no brown rice, most of stir fry vegetables, and ate mandarin oranges.  

Has Miles done this to you?  I'm standing and he comes up behind me and pushes against my ankles with his head until I move my feet apart far enough so he can crawl on through!!  Haha. Cracks me up.  This has probably happened at least 6 times.   

I have a couple pictures left over from yesterday afternoon.  (Speaking of yesterday, I have NO pain today and I'm so thankful!!) Miles, Cal, and Svea were crawling on the mattress and playing around the blue balance beam.  Notice that Svea has a flashlight too - lighting the path for Miles!  Ha.  The second picture is more of the same; playing, crawling, and rolling around on the mattress.

Next picture; Well I wonder what Miles will play with first when he gets here today!?!  Following picture: Avi showed up in her "Catboy" suit and she was letting Cal and Miles play with the tail; well at least until the tail got pulled off!  :)

This last last picture kind of captures the essence perfectly of what was happening here.  Svea was saying, "I'm making a bridge guys!!" (Talking to Miles and Cal.)  They didn't know or didn't care because they were leaving.  Haha.  "Guys!! I'm making a bridge!! Guys!!  Guys!!"  :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
