Miles - 8/26/2020

Miles ate half of whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of carrots, and ate fruit salad.    

Whenever Miles yells/screams we all say, "baa baa baa."  Trying to give him something to say instead of just screaming.  He has actually said it a couple of times.  Today he was ready to eat and started screaming and Callahan started saying it; "baa baa baa."  Good job Cal.  

Miles was sitting in front of the little mirror - the one where Nora spent the majority of her childhood, haha - and he was doing big waves to himself.  Haha.  So cute.  

Here are some pictures from his morning;  Avilene was walking slowly around with this bag over her head and the kids were all intently watching.  You can see Miles in the lower right of the picture.  Second picture; back at his favorite toy in this toy exchange.  


Next picture;  He and Cal were playing under the changing table.  I like the last picture; Last week he was a baby; this week he's reading books!!  Sometimes it feels like it happens about that fast too!!

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
