Miles - 8/27/2020

Miles ate blueberry bagel and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch he ate two servings of hamburger and sausage pizza with meat, pineapple, peppers, olives, and tomato sauce.  He tasted the whole wheat pizza crust (which we serve separate) and ate pineapple on the side.  During Lunch Avilene asked, "How do you know these peppers (in the pizza) are good to eat?"  This was the only answer I could think of:  "Well they were in Costco's food section so I just made an assumption.  And I guess there is a certain amount of faith involved too."  Haha. 

This morning Atley said, "Hey Gary!  Miles can say all of our names!!"  Oh really, are you sure?  "Yes." Well thanks for the update; I wasn't aware of that.  As a matter of fact I've never heard him say anyone's name!!  :)

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  Miles is pretty interested in the flashlight Nora was holding in her hand.  :)  I was just looking at his fingers in the picture; grabbing the flashlight.  He has good "pincher skills."  He likes to pick up minuscule objects from the floor.  :)

Next two pictures; You probably are tired of hearing me say how much these two little boys like each other.  And by the way, it's true!!  :)  They were having fun crawling across the floor and onto the mattress. You can see the grin on Miles' face and they were both squealing.  Atley was crawling with them and that made Miles laugh.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
