Miles - 8/10/2020

Miles ate French toast and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate pulled pork, bites of whole wheat toast, half of peas, and ate watermelon.  

Ok everyone, sorry, but no pictures on today's Blog!!  For some reason the pictures I took today will not load on Blogger.com so I'll try to figure that out tonight.  (Blogger.com has been updated so I may need to do something to make sure I'm still compatible.)  The Blog will no doubt be much shorter because I depend on the pictures to tell the stories!!  So I'll just try to paint the pictures for you.  Ha!

Picture # 1:  Avilene and Callahan each had a thermometer from the medical toys and were doubling up on Miles.  They each had a thermometer on the side of Miles' head.  :)  

Picture # 2:  Miles was crawling around the corner of the changing table.  I saw him coming so I was ducked down waiting for him.  Big beautiful smile as he came around the corner and saw where I was sitting at.  

Picture # 3:  Callahan and Svea were going around and around the big car ramp which was placed in the middle of the room.  (Put anything in the middle of the room and that age group loves to circle it!!)  Then Miles joined them by crawling around and around too.  The only problem; They rarely all go in the same direction at the same time.  Ha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
