Miles - 9/22/2020

Miles ate most of raisin cinnamon English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate most of chicken stir fry, a couple bites of brown rice, and ate mandarin oranges.  

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  Miles played in this wagon for a long time.  Gideon went over and pulled him down the sidewalk and then Callahan showed up and started pulling it too. Finally they just abandoned Miles and the wagon down by the gate.  :)  

Next picture; Avi has been gone since Tuesday and the first thing she did when she got here was play with Miles.  So cute.  It was pretty obvious that she missed her Miles buddy.  And of course Miles was loving the attention she was giving him.  


I really like this last picture of Miles.  The story behind it was so fun to watch because as usual Miles was so intentional in what he was doing.  He was at the toy shelves and pulled the keys off and you could almost see his little brain working!  He looked at the keys, turned around and crawled across the room right to the spot where he's played with the keys several times.  He was on a mission and he knew right where he wanted to go.  He had to go around the swivel/rocker and past a couple of kids, but nothing distracted him.  :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
