Miles - 9/3/2020

Miles ate waffle and two servings of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch he ate bite of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat tortillas, one bite of sweet potatoes, and ate cherries.  At Lunch Atley made this proclamation; "There are NO fancy boys and NO fancy girls at this Preschool!!"  LOL. I have no idea what that means to her, but it sure made me laugh.  I wasn't sure if I should be proud or offended.  :)  After all (as I keep reminding my Program families) I am from Sanders County so I was slightly proud!!  :)  

Here are a couple pictures left over from yesterday afternoon.  They were having fun crawling across the mattress laughing and giggling and Miles had just pitched a stuffed animal off the the mattress.  :)  The second picture is obviously from outside and the boys were playing in the house on the patio.  They were playing with the knobs on the sink.  

Next picture; The boys are at the window waving bye to Daddy Colin.  They knew I was behind them and they kept looking backwards.  So it took several tries before I got a picture where both are facing forward. Haha.  Following picture;  Miles was watching Cal playing and just enjoying watching Callahan have fun. I LOVE it when kids can enjoy watching others play.  :)  Last picture: Hanging out beside Svea and you'll see a picture similar to this in Nora's Blog.  Nora said it was a "Birthday Party for pets!!"  I'm not saying a word about "Pets" because I don't want to get into trouble.  :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
