Miles - 10/02/2020

Miles ate cream of wheat cereal and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, ate whole wheat toast, tasted the beets, and ate applesauce.  

These first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon.  Miles and Callahan were heading under the parachute tarp when I took the picture.  Most of the other kids were on the climber and they'd asked me to drape the parachute over the top to make their "cave."  Miles and Cal could hear the giggling coming from under the parachute.  Second picture;  This was the first time I'd see the static electricity make Miles' hair stand straight up!  Ha!  That was cracking me up.  When their hair is light as a feather it's so cute and funny.  

Next picture:  Svea had her foot up and was trying to peek around the corner.  Miles took advantage of the moment to study Svea's toes.  Haha.  Following picture:  Miles hears Lauralea in the kitchen and he always tries to get her attention.  He's pretty much got her trained to look for him.  When she goes to the kitchen he'll squeal, yell, or whatever it takes to get her attention.  He was by the big window and heard Cal talking to Lauralea and he went smoking over there to say hello too!  Last picture:  The two boys playing side-by-side with some food toys.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
