Miles - 10/12/2020

Miles ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ground turkey, whole wheat sandwich thins, ate tomato, avocado, and ate his cherries.  

I took this first picture of Miles shortly after he was waving bye to Momma at the window.  He just turned around and sat right there for a couple of minutes.  He's such a cute little guy!!  (You've never heard me say that before right!?!?)  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so like always everyone is happy it's toy exchange Monday!!  Second picture:  Cal and Miles are busy sorting through all the goodies.  Miles is busy studying how the phone works and probably thinking about reprogramming it!! Ha

I got a kick out of this next picture because Miles was in the chair and Cal was just making it go around and around with his feet.  It was kind of a lazy Monday - everyone was slightly exhausted from the weekend!!  I love the following picture:  This was later in the morning and the boys were back at the chair. Except this time Nora loaded up the chair with animals and doll blankets.  Miles didn't care; he just sat there with a slightly amused look on his face and let Nora pile stuff around him while Cal kept on pushing.  So Nora climbed on too.

As you can see from the last picture Miles had run out of gas by about 10:45.  So I took a "selfie in the mirror."  Miles would have went right to sleep if I would have kept rocking him.  His little body was totally relaxed.  It was awesome!!  :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles - 08/24/2022

Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
