Miles - 10/26/2020

Miles had a taste of whole wheat Chex cereal and ate three servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch he ate hamburger, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and two servings of mandarin oranges.    

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and like always the kids were busy as could be. Svea came just before lunch, but she verbalized it this way; "Why do you have all these different toys Gary?!? I've never seen them!!"  Haha.  (It's been 16 weeks since these toys were out.)  So maybe that's the way it is for kids her age and younger.  They certainly play like they've never seen them before!!  First picture; Miles and Callahan with the phones; Miles was holding it up to his ear jabbering.  

Next picture:  I took this picture after Callahan spotted a tiny little logo on Miles' shirt.  The logo is about 3 inches North East of Cal's finger - As long as you're sitting and facing the correct direction.  Haha.  Sorry, but as everyone knows I like to amuse myself!!  (And I'm not really sorry!)  I primarily put that in here to tease Momma Emily.  Hint; Go get your compass.  :)

Last picture:  This barn had Miles occupied for a long time.  Forget about the barn animals; Who needs them when you got all of these gates to open and close!?!  Ha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
