Miles - 11/05/2020

Miles ate French toast and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles.  He briefly tasted the cauliflower and ate fruit salad.   

Miles was happy to see his friends and had a busy morning.  In the picture below he'd been playing with the food toys near Svea and Callahan.  He crawled up on the book rack and played with the faucet and faucet handles.  He has his eyes glued on them and was determined to get up there.  

Next picture;  What can I say about this selfie!!  Haha.  So sweet and fun to cuddle with my little Miles friend. He's such a sweet little guy and I love the moments I can snuggle with him.  

Last picture:  Miles had just spotted Lauralea and was squealing for her attention and he immediately started standing up and "showing off" his coolness.  The story behind the story: Just prior to this Avilene was playing on the mattress with Miles until he saw Lauralea in the kitchen and that play was over!!  He crawled right over to the blue balance beam and got Lauralea's attention.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
