Miles - 11/09/2020

Miles ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ground beef, whole wheat hamburger bun, tomatoes, ate avocados, and cherries.   

Ok, warning: This story will contain gross poopy details, but hey that's what we deal with here many many times!!  Haha.  All of the following things are happening at the same time.  So Miles had a HUGE poop and I'm not exaggerating.  (Very close to Little Treasures record book, but not quite that huge.  Haha.)  His private area is totally covered with poop and of course he's immediately trying to fiddle with himself.  Ha!  I frantically yell "no" and grab his hand.  Nora is yelling; "Gary!! What are we having for lunch?!?"  Svea is yelling; "Gary!! Come here!!" She's reading a book and is convinced the picture of the author (Eric Carle) looks like me.  And Miles is now playing peekaboo!!  LOL!!  What a rodeo!!  It was SO funny!  I can't believe Cal and Atley weren't demanding my attention too!!  By the way, I do kind of resemble Eric Carle - he's bald and has a wee bit of white hair.  Haha.  

This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon and I'm posting it for two reasons.  One, the ground was bare of snow.  Ha.  Secondly, all 6 kids were under the parachute.  Which is very unusual and I had to be quick with the camera.  I can't prove all six are there, but you can't prove otherwise!  Haha.  

Pictures from this morning;  Toy exchange Monday and busy busy busy!!  Playing with food toys beside Callahan.  Miles was balancing the "pancakes" on top of the cup of "orange juice."  Second picture; He's opening a door in this toy and gonna stick the strawberry (look at his right hand) in there.  Following picture; Svea is combing her hair to show Miles how to use that comb he's holding.  :)  Last picture; He was trying to put on this Captain America mask and I thought he'd appreciate my help.  Nope.  :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
