Miles - 11/13/2020

Miles ate a large serving of oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch he ate salmon, whole wheat dinner roll, riced cauliflower, and ate mangoes.  He didn't want to try the riced cauliflower so I just mixed it in with bites of salmon and he ate everything.  Ha.  Callahan was gone yesterday and also today so I just stacked Cal's highchair on the bottom and Miles' highchair on top.  When I sat them out for a meal Miles immediately went for the one that was in his usual spot.  I didn't even think about that being a bit confusing.  And they are identical.  It probably doesn't matter much considering how many germs they share daily!!!

Three or four times yesterday and today Miles has just stood up in the middle of the floor and stood very still.  Well the four girls see that and start squealing and hollering with excitement.  It's kind of alarming and loud.  Haha.  It's a good thing he's not noise sensitive as it didn't seem to bother him; although he did sit right down!!  :)

First two pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  Svea was still sleeping in the Daycare Room so we put the "swimming pool" down and dumped the baby toys.  Miles can easily crawl out of there, but it contained the toys and kept him entertained for over 15 minutes.  It helped having Avi and Atley playing in there too.  Following picture;  Miles was not quite as thrilled with the snow as the day before.  Primarily because it was harder for him to crawl around.  But he made it to the big climber and was actually standing for a few moments.  

Next picture: Hey I have to do a selfie occasionally so you can see I'm telling the truth when I say he snuggles occasionally.  Haha.  He is just SO sweet and snuggly.  Last picture:  Svea was in the chair with the "Superman Castle" - I have no idea what it's really called - she had it up there primarily to keep it away from Miles.  Ha.  I led him over to the "Batman Castle" that's essentially just like this one, but it's always way more interesting to go for a toy someone is already playing with.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
