Miles - 11/25/2020

Miles ate French toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch he ate a large serving of whole 30 chili with meat, peppers, tomatoes, tomato sauce, sweet potatoes, and spices.  He ate whole wheat dinner roll, and ate tropical fruit.   

Svea started howling on the mattress and as I looked over that direction both she and Miles were grabbing their fore-heads.  (That's the universal sign of head-bonking!!)  :)  Svea came over and snuggled with me and I kept a close eye on Miles.  He frowned, but he never cried.  I said, "Wow you must be pretty tough Miles."  Svea wasn't real impressed with that comment.  She said, "My tough too!!"  Haha.  Yes you certainly are tough too Svea!!

First picture;  Miles is living kind of dangerously here!!  Svea had all 8 ice cream flavors tucked under the pillow.  She stacked them together and was holding them like they were her baby.  Ha.  Then she tucked them under the pillow to relax on the couch and here comes Miles.  However, she didn't hardly react.  Miles is still small enough and mild enough that he can get away with things like this.  I wouldn't make and predictions going forward.  :)

Next picture:  I don't remember having another baby that liked doing this as much as Miles does!!  Like I've mentioned before he'll stop just about every day and take a short siesta on something soft.  :)  Except siesta is not the right word - that's more about a nap.  This is more about the soft feel on his face.  (Again that's just my opinion.)  Following picture:  Miles in just his diaper.  (seeped through on his onsie) Callahan was mystified as to why Miles only had on a diaper.  Cal kept saying, "Mau Mau, Mau Mau, Mau Mau Diaper."  Over and over.  :)

Last two pictures; This is NOT a foot fetish!  Haha.  Miles just has aspirations of being a Podiatrist!!

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
