Miles - 11/30/2020

Miles ate a large serving of bran cereal and two servings of raisins for breakfast.  For lunch he ate chicken, most of whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, and ate pears. 

Nora and Atley were doing art at the Preschool table when Lauralea made her first appearance this morning.  Miles and Callahan immediately went to the gate.  It was pretty cute because Nora said, "Hey Lauralea, he (Miles) heard you!!"  :)

First picture:  This may be the first picture I've taken of Cal in the chair and Miles on the outside.  :)  Cal was sitting there waiting expectantly, patiently for the ride that never materialized!!  Haha.  Apparently Miles took a step or two this morning, but I never saw it!  The girls screamed excitedly and that was the end of that!!  :)  Following picture: Reading books on the couch with Callahan.

Next two pictures;  One minute Svea doesn't want Miles to touch her toys and she's screaming for my help.  The next minute she's offering the toy to him and encouraging him to take it.  That is super common in this age group and it's also one of the reasons I'm hesitant to immediately jump into a conflict.  I'm way more inclined to wait a few moments and see what transpires as long as no one is getting hurt of course. Last picture:  Svea not only gave up the toy (she'd been screaming about 4 minutes prior to the pictures, but now she gave up the seat of the chair as well.  She was now WAY more interested in her reflection in the mirror!!  Haha.  She told me; "Miles cute."

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
