Miles - 12/01/2020

Miles ate blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate shrimp, no brown rice, taste of stir fry vegetables, and no raspberries.  

First picture:  Svea was working hard at this puzzle and working just as hard to keep Miles from snatching a puzzle piece.  He was slipping his hand in beside Svea's right arm and he was very quick about grabbing a piece!! She'd get one in place and he'd snatch it out quickly and she'd yank it right back.  That Svea is a tough little critter Miles.  Good luck!!  Haha.

Next picture;  And now it's Miles with the other Nelson Sister.  :)  As I've mentioned many times Avilene loves Miles and she was having fun with him on the mattress.  Basically mauling him and as you can see his face he was totally enjoying it too.  Miles took a couple of steps three or four times this morning and Avi was SO thrilled.  She had the biggest grin on her face and was very excited.  "Miles is walking!!  Miles is walking!!"  Yup, he's starting to take a step now and then.  It's gonna happen before 2021!!  :)

Last picture:  The three big girls will occasionally take an activity to the fence so the little ones can watch them.  This really doesn't happen very often as everyone is usually off doing their own thing.  Svea, Miles, and Cal stayed right there watching for at least 10 - 15 minutes.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
