Miles - 12/08/2020

Miles ate waffle and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate chicken, whole wheat tortillas, corn, and two servings of baked cinnamon apples.   

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I'm not sure why I saved it to put on the Blog, but why not!?  :)  It was pretty cute when Miles was holding this baby bottle in his mouth without using his hands.  Silly guy.  

Next picture:  Miles was over by the window when he heard other kids saying "Hi Lor Lor" to Lauralea.  He went right for the mattress to show off.  The usual daily routine.  That just cracks me up.  And of course he loves her response.  So stinking cute.  Following picture:  I was squeezing him between my knees and every time I'd squeeze him I'd say, "Squish, squish."  So we did that 30 - 40 times.  Haha.

Next two pictures were taken about 1.5 hours apart, but they're doing the exact same thing.  Just in a different location.  Playing with the cars.  Miles is right at the age where he can have the exact same toy, or almost the same, and still want the one someone else is playing with.  In the second picture; 2 or 3 times he'd turn loose of his car and try to grab Cal's car.  Last picture:  Also this morning, I moved him away from Svea, but he's pretty relentless in harassing her.  Like I said in an earlier blog; maybe it's payback for Svea doing the same thing and tormenting Nora back in the day.  :)  In the picture he's slipping around behind her and coming in for the goods.  Haha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
