Miles - 12/11/2020

Miles ate two bites of brown rice and ate raisins for breakfast.  For lunch he ate two servings of salmon, ate whole wheat dinner roll, no riced cauliflower, and ate mangoes.   

Yesterday we (Lauralea doing the videoing) videoed the kids doing 3 separate Christmas songs.  This weekend I'm planning on trying to Post these on an "Unlisted You Tube" video.  No one can see it except those you give the link to.  Does anyone have any objections to this or know of any reason I shouldn't use that format?  No names are given in the video; it's just 3 songs.

These first two pictures were basically right after Callahan arrived first thing this morning.  Cal was upset because Atley and Nora were pushing Miles around and around in the chair and he thought he'd been left out of the fun.  :)  The big girls sweetly let him get in the chair and the fun continued.  Then they started putting doll blankets and pillows on the boys and Cal doesn't really care; he just sits there amused.  Miles doesn't fuss; he just thrashes around and removes everything.  :)

Next picture;  Miles was a bit fussy at times this morning and I took this picture when Atley was trying her best to make him happy.  Thanks Atley.  I included the last picture because there's more room here than in Nora's Blog.  :)  I'm assuming Auntie sent this book up from Louisiana for the kids.  Regardless, I love it.  For us who have family in Louisiana and who've spent some time there this is perfect.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
