Miles - 12/14/2020

Miles ate Cheerios and two servings of banana for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, avocado, ate olives, and strawberries.  

This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon.  I already showed Emily one picture, but I like this one better.  Atley is feeding Miles his cottage cheese and Avilene is feeding Callahan.  Miles has his mouth open wide, but still keeping an eye on Cal.  Haha.  So cute.  I know the three families of the three older girls already know this, but I like reminders and I hope you do too.  So here's a reminder:  The big girls LOVE to be helpers!!  And this is a big help to me too.  I'm free to take a picture!!  Haha.  

Next picture:  Svea was playing with these food toys and she likes to hoard ALL of them.  She grabbed them from Miles just as he was sticking this last one in his mouth.  She didn't grab it from his mouth so that was good. But it made me laugh because it looks like he's taunting her.  That's probably NOT the case, because children this age simply don't think like we adults do.  

Next picture: Miles crawled up beside me on the couch and brought along the toy he was playing with.  So I stuck it on his toe and he did it over and over and over.  Haha.  Last picture:  It's so cute how he likes being in this position at least once or twice a day at Daycare.  I sure love this little fella and I'm thankful I get to care for him.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
