Miles - 12/17/2020

Miles ate blueberry bagel and ate peaches for breakfast.  For lunch he ate a large serving of hamburger & sausage pizza with the meats, peppers, olives, pineapple, and tomato sauce.  We serve the whole wheat pizza crust on the side and he ate bites of that, and he ate two servings of pineapple on the side too.     

First picture:  Callahan had built this nice tower of all small blocks and then he'd gone to find some more. You can see him squatted down just to the left of the two Yellow blocks in the middle of the tower.  And of course you know what Miles is about to do as he moves closer.  Next picture - And over it goes!  Cal turned around and said, "Mau Mau!"  And that surprisingly enough was the end of it.  I speak with experience when I say; "That is NOT how Callahan would have reacted to Svea if she'd been the one to push over his stack."  :)

Next picture:  These three were at the window waiting for Lauralea to drive by and then Svea started singing, "She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes...."  Haha.  Perfect!!  Last picture:  We'd built a little structure with the blocks and Miles was in the beginning process of dissembling it!!

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
