Miles - 12/28/2020

Miles ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch he ate tilapia, half of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate green beans, and applesauce. 

Atley was at the window and Miles walked from the mattress to the window without stopping or going down!  Atley yelled; "Look at Miles!! How did you do that!?!"  She added; "He walked all the way from the mattress to here!!"  She was obviously impressed.  Haha.  So was I.

First picture:  Miles was doing his tricks and yelling for me to look at him!!  "Watch me Gary, watch me Gary!!"  Little Cutie.  Second picture;  The four girls were on the mattress with the "Nelson Blankets" and Miles was crawling around there as well, but he managed to not get yelled at!!  Ha. 

These last two pictures go together.  Miles was playing with a little table from the small doll house toys. He found a perfect hole to fit it into and it looked like it gave him lots of satisfaction.  I just like his expression when he turned around.  "Look what I did."  And the fact that he left it there for several seconds.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
