Miles - 01/14/2021

Miles ate whole wheat English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ground beef, bites of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate peas, and half of applesauce.  

Miles was trying hard to get to the window to wave bye at Daddy this morning, but just couldn't make it!! Too many insignificant minuscule pieces of fuzz laying around.  Haha.  I picked up a piece of fuzz later in the morning to put in the trash and it was soaking wet.  Hmmm....I wonder who had that in their mouth!?!  Haha.  I know where I'm placing my bets.
 
First two pictures;  You can tell both of these pictures were taken pretty early this morning because both boys still have their shoes on.  :)  Nora was snuggling with Svea, so Avi went over and wanted Miles to sit with her in the chair.  When Avilene got down to spin the chair for Miles then Cal took the opportunity to climb right in.  :)

This next picture hit my funny bone!!  Miles has been putting the jingle bells on his wrists and wearing them like bracelets.  (I've seen him do it three or four times this week.)  I grabbed the phone for a picture and he immediately put his arms straight down and they fell off.  Hahaha.  Pretty sure that was intentional!!  Check out his expression.  You can see the jingle bells laying on the floor by his feet.  He must be related to Nora Hansen!!  Sometimes she's ok with pictures, but this morning for example she was dancing and I aimed the camera at her and it was instant "freeze frame!!" :) I took the last picture of Callahan, but then I saw Miles in the background keeping an eye on the ceiling fan. Ha.  He probably just got done waving at it.  :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
