Miles - 02/05/2021

Miles ate oatmeal and baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch he ate hamburger stew with meat, tomatoes, carrots, and green beans.  He ate bites of whole wheat dinner roll and bites of apricots.  

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon and I was getting such a kick out of watching these two little boys do "bluff/fake charges" at each other. Miles would retreat into the igloo and Cal would move backwards toward the gate.  Then they both go charging out laughing, squealing, and giggling. And they'd abort the charge just before the moment of contact like you see in the picture.  Haha. So cute!!

Next picture; Svea and Nora were having a blast on the couch and you'll see pictures of them in Nora's Blog. Miles was passing by and stopped for some loves. He really is a little love bug. You can't really see Svea's head below his head, but you can see her hair.  Svea said, "That's so cool."  Nora agreed; "yes it is." Look at Nora's arms; she was ready for his love too.  

Next picture; Back at the igloo playing. Cal was filling the igloo with blocks and toys and guess what - Miles is in the igloo laughing about it!  It cracked me up. The more blocks Cal put in there the more Miles would giggle. Then Cal said, "It's so cozy." Then started singing, "Night night Mau Mau..."  LOL!! Last picture:  Personal space? What personal space!? Haha. Avi loves Miles and he gets lots of attention from her!! She's responds well when he yells to go free; sometimes reluctantly, but she always listens to him.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
