Miles - 02/16/2021

Miles ate whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate chicken, no brown rice, taste of stir fry vegetables, and ate mandarin oranges.  

Miles had a good morning; just his usual normal fun self! :) First things first: Get those blocks off the shelf! He cracks me up because he always has a smug little satisfied expression on his face. "Look what I'm doing again; I'm pretty cool." Second picture: Cal was wanting Miles to stay in the chair so Cal could keep pushing it around and around like he'd been doing. Miles had other ideas; he bailed out and they were having this stand-off when I took the picture. haha. Then Miles took off running across the room. He's definitely getting his own ideas and acting on them. :)

Next picture: Nora requested "Christmas Music" from Alexa and then she was encouraging the boys to dance; which they were doing when I took the picture. The picture also happened to catch Nora when she was whipping her hair around "being cool." :) Following picture; This made me laugh too.  Hmmm....I see a theme here; everything makes me laugh! Ha. Avilene had been on top of the igloo leaning out over the opening taking pictures upside-down with the boys inside. By the time I got the camera into position that was over because Miles had other ideas. Haha. 

Last picture: I love how Miles gets so involved in his work and play that he doesn't even know I'm sticking a camera in his personal space. He was stirring some food toys and very busy. Those happen to be doll feet in case you were wondering if there was a baby hanging their feet off the toy shelf. haha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
