Miles - 02/18/2021

Miles ate blueberry bagel and three servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch he ate a large serving of hamburger & sausage pizza with meat, peppers, pineapple, olives, and tomato sauce. He had a bite of whole wheat pizza crust (served on the side) and ate two servings of pineapple. 

This first picture was taken after Miles and Callahan had all the blocks off the top and bottom shelves and scattered around. Callahan said, "I'm working Gary." And that's exactly what it is even though it appears like play to us. It really is "their work." By the time I took the picture I guess the boys were having a scheduled "break time." Haha. Second picture: If you look closely you'll see Miles working in the igloo too. 

Next two pictures. Miles has moved on to his most favorite job; loving on the girls. Haha. In the first picture Atley was laying on the floor and Miles saw an opportunity. How cute is this!?! In the second picture Miles also initiated this love from Avi. He laid his head on her lap and Avi was thrilled. She said, "I  think Miles is loving on me." Yes he sure is Avi and he really does love you.

Last picture; Cal has a daily ritual of taking off his socks and slinging them over the gate onto the entry-way floor. These socks were not easy to get off and he asked for help from his buddy. Miles was hanging on and Cal was pulling back on his leg, but they couldn't get it so I helped out. (After the picture of course! ha)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
