Miles - 02/23/2021

Miles ate whole wheat English muffin and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate pork roast, whole wheat toast, ate beets, and ate applesauce.  

These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon. This was the first day Miles was standing up and stepping off onto the mattress. (He'll soon be jumping off.) He was giggling and doing it over and over and over and over. So cute. And what can I say about the second picture! This moment could not have been more spontaneous and precious. I just happened to have my camera in hand. The looks on their faces are so peaceful and pure. I love it. Miles is such an affectionate love bug. He was passing by, saw Svea laying like this, and went for the love. 

Today Cal and Miles banged heads; but only Cal cried. Yesterday Cal and Svea banged heads; but only Cal cried. Hopefully Miles and Svea won't bang heads, but if they do I'll let you know who claims the status for Hard Head #1! Ha. Miles slid down between the blue balance beam and the mattress today, hit his head on the blue balance beam on the way down, and never whimpered. He's a tough little critter. (He's definitely got a good shot at the #1 slot! 

Next picture; Miles got the keys jammed in that hole fairly snug and he was very proud of himself. He was clapping and cheering. Ha. (That hole is where a door handle fits, but I took it off years ago.) Last picture: Avi had on the wolf mask and was playing with Miles and Cal and you can see the boys were having a blast. Cal was extending his arm and the wolf was pretending to bite it. :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
