Miles - 03/01/2021

Miles ate bites of bran cereal and ate raisins for breakfast.  For lunch he ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, avocado, cucumbers, and ate his pears.   

Miles and Cal were playing in the igloo and Cal was trying hard to cover the opening with doll blankets like the older kids do. Cal said, "I make Miles all cozy." Ha. Miles just sat in there by himself for the longest time while Cal worked on the entrance. 

This first picture is one of the selfies we were doing when Miles was beside me on the couch. Little Cutie. Following picture working on his daily job. He's on his tiptoes standing on some blocks and trying to reach the last blocks that turned sideways. :) And he finally got it. Way to keep after it Miles. Third picture: Cal stacked up the three little blocks you see and stood on them for a few seconds. Miles decided to adapt the stack a bit! Haha. This did not work. :) 

Last two pictures; Svea and Miles were working with the little wooden blocks. The stack got knocked over two or three times, but she didn't get angry or exasperated at him. (See the different positioning of the stack in the two pictures.) The blocks were in the shelf in front of Miles and she'd put a block on the stack and say, "Ok, get me another one." And he'd get another one.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
