Miles - 03/17/2021

Miles ate half of whole wheat toast and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, bite of whole wheat tortillas, ate carrots, and ate fruit salad. (Just a strawberry/mango mix.) 

The first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon. Have I mentioned how wonderful it is for us to be going outside again! Marvelous. They asked me lay out the two tunnels and I think there are 3 kids in the tunnel, with Cal standing beside, and Miles entering the near end. In the second picture Miles is doing his usual waving at anyone walking by or sometimes jsut driving by. He LOVES to greet everyone and anyone; and he'll walk up and start talking to anyone as well. He waved at this older lady walking by and of course she loved it! He was still waving when she was down the sidewalk about to cross the street. Ha.

Next picture: This picture makes me laugh! Zoom in on Atley's face; her face pretty much tells the story!! Haha! She's like; "What the heck are you so upset about Miles!?!" Like I've mentioned several times Miles tries to join whoever is pushing the chair; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work! It wasn't working this time! So I got him distracted doing something else and the girls were happily making the chair go around and around again!! Last picture: Cal was examining Svea's grippy socks and I like how Miles is reaching over to see what this is all about! :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
