MIles - 04/09/2021

I burned the brown rice so we went with corn chex cereal along with the raisins. Miles ate corn chex and raisins. For lunch he ate a large serving of salmon, bites of whole wheat dinner roll, ate cauliflower, and ate mangoes.   

First picture: This is left over from yesterday and I was able to retrieve some of the pictures. He'd set this little mirror up in the window by himself and was kind of proud of that feat. :) I love how I caught him looking out the window at whatever. 

Next picture: Momma Emily and I were discussing how Miles likes to snuggle and here's another selfie from a snuggling moment this morning!! This never gets old!!  Haha. What a cute sweet little fella. I will talk to him and answer him like I totally understand what he's saying and he talks in this soft sweet tone. He seems to enjoy that. 

Last picture; Callahan and Miles watching the little doggie (Svea brought with her) singing and dancing and they were getting a kick out of it. What's the song you ask: "I want Candy." Hmmm...interesting choice for a kid's toy, but whatever. (Depends on how you interpret the song and it's been around for about 55 years so there are a lot of interpretations!! Ha!) It's got a cool beat and the boys were loving it.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
