Miles - 04/14/2021

Miles ate whole wheat toast and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his pork roast, no whole wheat tortillas, bites of carrots, bites of potatoes, and ate fruit salad. 

First picture; The igloo was kind of the main attraction this morning at Little Treasures. Here it's just Miles and Cal and Miles peeking in at him and giggling. Cal was in there a long time and I thought he must have taken a book with him, but it was just a boot from the dress-up clothes. Haha. And he was totally preoccupied with it. 

Next picture. I posted this one in Nora's Blog too, but Miles was also in the igloo when I took the picture. Miles was going in and out on a pretty regular basis; only staying in there for 18 - 33 seconds at a time. Ha. Cal, on the other hand, spent the majority of the morning in the igloo. Seriously. 

Last pictures: Miles got to have fun with the flashlights today! The last couple of times we've gotten them out he's been super interested in experimenting with them. And you can see by the pictures that's exactly what he was doing.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
