Miles - 04/15/2021

Miles ate bites of blueberry bagel and ate two servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate most of hamburger & sausage pizza with olives, tomato sauce, pineapple, and peppers. He ate no whole wheat pizza crust that we serve on the side and ate a big serving of pineapple on the side.  

First picture; Snuggling with Gary. Bet you can't guess what I was trying to get him to say!?!? Haha. Yup, you're right!  Come on Miles, say, "I love Gary!!" "Nope, I'll just sit here looking real cute and keep on grinning and chuckling. Gary thinks it's funny when I do that!" :) Second picture: Atley is hard at work getting the tunnel set up into the igloo, Miles is pestering Nora who's already inside, and Cal is busy examining his flashlight; making sure it's functioning well before heading for some spelunking!! Ha!

Next picture: This is the early stages - very early - of potty training!! (That's a joke.) Svea was sitting in the other sink (you can see her in the mirror) and Miles thought it looked like a good idea. :) 

Next picture; What could possibly go wrong with this set-up!?! Ha. Cal is inside, Svea yelling orders from this end, and you can see Miles dangling off the other end. :) Last picture: Cal loves building his towers, Miles just watches but never does he threaten to knock it over. That's not what usually happens with this age group. Good job Miles.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
