Miles - 04/16/2021

Miles ate most of his oatmeal and ate dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of Tilapia, no whole wheat elbow noodles, ate a large serving of green beans, and most of applesauce. 

Cal said he wasn't gonna wave at Momma this morning and he followed through with that. Ha. Well at least he wasn't showing partiality this week; he didn't wave at Dad one day either. But the reason I even mention this is because Miles still went to the window and was waving at Maddy and Bubba. AND Miles was saying, "Bubba Bubba Bubba" as they drove by. That's obviously an easy word for him to say because he doesn't say much. Good job Miles. (He's had lots of practice with this and he likes it.)

First picture: Not much to say about this; I'm just posting it because I think it's so cute. You're welcome. Ha. This is one spot where the girls build their "cave" and you just gotta wait long enough for them to abandon their spot!! Good work Miles. Next picture: Cal and Miles doing some coloring together. This was Miles' first time at the coloring 'thing' and he did pretty well. By that I mean; not putting marker in his mouth. Ha. (You gotta have realistic expectations!!)

Next picture: Woot woot!! Look who's jumping off the first level of the igloo this morning!! :) Way to be brave Cal!! When I say first level I'm referring to the top of the igloo entrance. That's almost always the natural progression of their jumping braveness. Although he's been playing on the very top too, so I'm sure it won't be too long until he's a "top jumper." :) And look who's watching! A future jumper!! :) Last picture: This totally cracks me up!! Look where his focus is; Not on where he's jumping!! Haha. He basically took off running heading for the mattress focused on me grinning like crazy!! Ok, here's an update: Cal just started jumping off the top of the igloo.!! That didn't take long! (About 20 minutes and he'd moved to the next level!) Haha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
