Miles - 04/21/2021

Miles ate French toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of Whole 30 Chili with meat, peppers, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, tomato sauce, and with delicious seasonings. He ate a bite of whole wheat dinner roll and ate half of tropical fruit.  

Atley and Nora wanted this big blanket to make a cave first thing this morning and Miles immediately took advantage and went inside under it. So I lifted up the blanket to see what he was doing and he's just laying there. Haha. Second picture; The boy Miles - he loves to fist bump. That's putting it mildly; right!?! I have to fist bump him every day when I lay him in his crib for nap. My favorite is when he wants to fist bump random strangers at the fence by the sidewalk!! So Miles and Cal were "fist bumping" and then Cal would flop over backwards on the mattress. And Miles would laugh and giggle!! Over and over and over.

Next picture; So Miles wanted to do some coloring when Cal asked to color and he made several marks before he was obviously done. Ha. Then Cal asked for stickers and Miles yelled for whatever Cal was yelling for!  Hahaha. I peel the back down from the sticker and let them pull it off and apply to their paper. This was a new experience (here) for Miles and he did the two stickers you see on his paper. Then he wanted NO more of the stickiness. He'd only try to grab the part you peel off and wasn't about to touch the sticky again. Haha. 

Last picture - All 6 kids were watching the Street Sweeper, but only 4 were at the window. Atley and Nora were watching from the couch. The driver didn't notice the kids waving - which is probably good; he's focused on his job. Ha. However, the Garbage Truck driver waved at them this morning.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
