Miles - 04/23/2021

Miles ate most of his cream of wheat cereal and ate one bite of dried plums for breakfast. He ate bite of Chicken, bites of brown rice, ate broccoli, and ate pineapple. 

First picture: Miles was watching 2 crows outside the window this morning. There is obviously a crow at the middle top of the picture, but he was focused on a crow to the left out of the picture. Second picture: So just in case anyone thought Miles may not be clearing the top shelf of blocks anymore; here's a picture and it still happens occasionally. Just not everyday like it was for a few months. :) Cal has joined him in the picture, but just prior to this Cal stood back and just encouraged Miles to clear the shelf. He was saying, "Do rest of em, do rest of em, do rest of em." Haha. 

Next picture: This was pretty stinking cute. Cal would push the chair as fast as he could and then stop and say, "Miles do you wanna go faster!?!?" Miles would squeal! Apparently that meant yes and away they'd go. Repeat this over and over and over. Ha. How hilarious is this last picture!?!? Haha. So Cal and Miles joined the girls and did some "dot painting" this morning. Miles had fun with it and was thumping those paints pretty good. Ha. When he was done he decided to peel off his paint shirt by himself. He had the shirt up over his head, but couldn't get it off and he was pulling it back on when I took the picture. :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
