Miles - 05/17/2021

Why is this so late you ask? Well, I'm not sure what happened: I had Miles' Blog done, I thought it was posted, but it disappeared. Ha. Absolutely positively operator error. Haha. Stinking computers. So here we go again.

Miles ate corn chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate everything as well: Ground beef topped with avocado, toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, tomatoes, and mandarin oranges. I give pretty large servings (Lauralea's observation - Ha) and all my kids are good eaters. 

Hey you get a different - but very similar - picture than everyone else!! We had a lot of fun at the Gulf on Friday and the water was so warm and nice. Gideon had a blast scooping sand, sitting in the water, and running like a wild man.

This picture is left over from last week when the kids went to the park. Good job of climbing Miles!! And some pictures from outside this morning. We were doing bubbles, but Miles had no interest in that and chose to be at the fence to wave at random people and vehicles! Haha. He was happy when our neighbor stopped by for a couple minutes to visit. Miles stood there waving and saying, "hi hi hi" until the neighbor acknowledged him. Then he and Cal played on the balance beam; Cal tries to walk on it and Miles steps on it and off over and over.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
