Miles - 05/20/2021

Miles ate waffle and two servings of fruit salad for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground turkey, whole wheat tortillas, most of sweet potatoes, and ate cherries.  

First picture; Callahan and I had been snuggling when Miles arrived and so Miles snuggled momentarily, but he was too jacked-up to lay still. Ha. I was trying to get a selfie of him and he kept sitting up and I kept pushing his head back to my chest. He was giggling like crazy. You can see Cal looking at the camera keeping track of our progress! Haha. Or lack of progress!

Next picture: These boys played with these two toys - shot dispenser from medical toys and a carrot - for the LONGEST time! And they kept going back to it! They were trying to insert them into the empty screw holes in the door of the changing table. As you can see in the picture even though Miles didn't have either toy he was totally enthralled with the process. :)

Last two pictures: Lauralea was outside the window in the rain (light drizzle) holding a paper that one of the girls had colored on with chalk and watching the the rain turn the chalk darker. (Part of the Science Experiments) The boys didn't have a clue, but they liked watching Lauralea in the rain. Haha. Last picture: There's that carrot again! This is evidence that Miles has passed this way. :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
