Miles - 05/25/2021

Miles ate blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate shrimp, brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and ate marion black berries. I didn't post this in Nora's Blog so I'll post it here. Atley made an announcement at the breakfast table: "When I grow up I'm gonna give all my toys to you guys." LOL. Geez that made me laugh. Everyone seemed to be quite pleased with the announcement. Avi said, "She's gonna give me her toys when she grows up." Ha. Typical kid; she assumed she would be receiving ALL the toys herself. Ha. 

First picture: Miles has doubled up on his tools this morning; a drill in each hand. Get that boy two holsters! (Sorry, I'm just amusing myself.) He's intently watching Atley and Nora play on the floor of the Daycare Room with "his" toys. Ha. 

Next picture: Miles has perfected using the drills and is now working with the staplers. They make a pretty cool sound when you engaged them all the way so he's been stapling this morning too. You can see Cal is watching Miles' progress with the stapler. :)

Last picture: Avi started by reading to Miles and then Callahan joined them. She'd read a book or two and they'd wander off for a few moments and then come back for more. She sounded like a momma hen calling her chicks back to her. :) "Cal! Miles!, Cal! Miles!"

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
