Miles - 06/02/2021

Miles ate French toast and ate two servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground turkey mixed with avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, ate tomatoes, and cherries. 

This first picture made me laugh. Avilene was saying, "Get on my back Miles. Get on my back Miles. Get on my back Miles." Over and over and over. We obviously do not do this very often because he wasn't sure what she wanted and never did crawl on. OR, maybe he did know and wanted no part of that ride! Haha. Svea and Cal jumped at the opportunity to climb aboard!! :)

Second picture; This sequence of events was pretty cute. Shortly after Svea arrived Miles was working hard to get Svea to do "knuckles" with him. He followed her around the room and she was getting a big kick out of it too!! It became quite the game and both of them were laughing. 

Next picture: Lauralea is going into her office on Wednesdays now - one day per week. The boys were slightly confused because we've been calling one of the backrooms "Lauralea's office." So why is she leaving to go to her office!?!? :) Last picture: Svea, Cal, and Miles on the teeter-totter outside.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
