Miles - 06/04/2021

Miles ate brown rice and raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of salmon, ate whole wheat dinner roll, cauliflower, and ate mangoes.  

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon. Svea wasn't crying, but she was upset because she had to take a break away from the Preschool Room. (Not a big deal; she's quickly learning to follow the rules because she LOVES doing activities out there.) Anyhow, Miles knew she was feeling bad and he went over to give her a love. She rolled away from him, but it was still SO cute and sweet.

Next picture: Miles was nibbling on some play cheese - ha - and I was asking him to say, "Love Gary" over and over. Ha. He kept saying the same two sounds over and over. (They sounded identical. Ha.) Following picture: This started with Svea laying on the couch and saying; "Cal, can you make me cozy?!?" Ha. Miles immediately joined in as he's heard that phrase many times and watched it being played out. They piled lots of pillows, doll blankets, and doll clothes on Svea. Then Miles started putting tools on her too. Haha. Svea yelled, "No hard toys! No hard toys!" :)

Last picture: Miles and Callahan found a spider on the garage wall and that kept their interest for several minutes. Miles kept reaching up like he was gonna grab it, but he never did. Svea was there as well, but she was back at a very safe distance! Ha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
