Miles - 06/23/2021

Miles ate whole wheat toast and two servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef mixed with marinara sauce on top of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate half of his cauliflower, and ate fruit salad.

First picture: Miles is trying hard to get the legos trailer to hook onto the legos tractor. I've showed him how to do it, but it's not the easiest thing for the little ones to do. You have to push together firmly before it "snaps" into place. But I like to see them trying before yelling for help. 

Next picture: Miles doing some Art work again. Those are Nora's hands on his highchair as she wants to see what he's drawing. Nora said it was a "treasure map." :) Again I'm impressed with how he makes all the small deliberate marks. So interesting.

Next picture: The boys were having fun being silly playing, jumping, and rolling on the mattress. I'm working at having Miles say words instead of constant loud squealing. When he's happy and excited I'm having him say, "fun, fun, fun, fun." And he's been responding, but as you know it's pretty constant. Cal will say the words too which is actually very helpful!! Following picture: The boys watching the neighbor mow their lawn. Atley and Nora were watching earlier, but they were giggling and snickering because the neighbor is "naked" - without his shirt on. :)

I took this last picture when we were playing outside this morning. Playing with the "noodles" is one of Cal's favorite activities and it has been for a long time. Miles plays with them occasionally - especially if there's an opportunity to grab one of Cal's noodles like you see in the picture. Ha.
