Miles - 06/24/2021

Miles ate French toast and dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, half of peas, and ate strawberries. 

First picture: I was on the couch and Miles and Callahan kept trying to squeeze in behind me and I was "pinning" them to the back of the couch or sitting on them. Ha. You can see my forehead in the lower right of the picture and I was using my head to pin Miles and kept telling him he was "stuck!!" 

Next picture: Miles was fetching all the jingle bell shaker toys and depositing them in front of Cal. So of course our musical Cal promptly started singing "Jingle Bells" right on tune. :) Sounding good Cal! Miles sings on-tune as well! I can hear "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" every time he sings it. Following picture: Miles was on the phone saying, "Mom Mom Mom." I got the camera and at the same time he spotted an airplane. So cute. "Hey look Mom! An airplane!"

Here's the story behind this last picture!! The first thing the kids spotted when we went outside this morning was one of our neighborhood rabbits in our yard. :) They didn't even have time to put their shoes on; all three of them are carrying their shoes. They watched it for awhile and it ran behind the garage and soon reappeared in the yard. That time Atley started chasing it saying, "I'm not gonna let it poop in your yard!!" The kids watched it sprint across the street and it was hiding out under the boat - see picture - across the road.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
