Miles - 07/02/2021

Miles ate brown rice and raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of salmon, ate whole wheat dinner roll, ate cauliflower, and mangoes.  

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon after I combed Miles' hair! He has nice hair just like his Daddy. Atley was watching me comb his hair and she loved it. Atley said, "Oh he's so pretty I could marry him!" Haha. Side note: Every time I comb his hair now he goes straight to the mirror to have a look. That cracks me up. So cute. 

Next picture: The girls were running through the sprinkler - I got out the least aggressive sprinkler we have so it would be enjoyable for them. And I was trying to coax Miles into walking through a corner of it. Nope, that wasn't happening. Look how he's holding out his hand; the drops were almost reaching him and occasionally his hand might get hit by a drop or two of water. Ha. 

Next two pictures: Miles had WAY more interesting things to do than just run through a sprinkler!! He crawled under and around the big climber which I'd not moved off the Patio, In the last picture he'd heard and spotted an airplane. I like how he's discreetly pointing at it. Haha. He reacts to every plane and helicopter that he hears.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
