Miles - 07/14/2021

Miles ate whole wheat toast and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, no one had whole wheat tortillas as I forgot them in plain sight on the counter - ha, he ate half of potatoes, ate carrots, and fruit salad.  

First picture: Cal and Miles wanted to go right from eating breakfast to doing some art. Fine with me. :) Today is actually the first time he starting "lining-up" the stickers. I always kind of encourage them to "use the whole sheet of paper" because this age will frequently just pile the stickers on top of each other. And without even looking. Ha. Others become slightly obsessed with making rows of stickers. Miles seems to be leaning toward that group. Haha. 

What do you think Miles is doing in this next picture? Here's the 'correct' answer: Alexa was playing "Baby Shark" and Miles was bobbing up and down on his knees clapping his hands. :) It was very cute. (Just in case you were wondering about that!! Ha!)

Next picture: Miles joined Cal and Svea on the airplane, but his choice of seating positions is kind of sketchy. (Just my opinion.) This isn't the best angle, but if you look close you'll see he has straddled the red bar instead of sitting in the middle of the seat. That always has potential to be painful. :) Last picture: I was sitting on the climber; "Hey! Who's patting me on the back?!" And he was laying against my back as well. Little sweetie.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
