Miles - 07/20/2021

Miles ate whole wheat English muffin and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, whole wheat toast, bites of beets, and some applesauce. 

Whenever I ask Miles a question like; "How was your weekend?" "What'd you do last night?" His standard one word answer is always; "Mom!!" or "Mommy!!" And the answer is usually coming out before I even finish the question. Ha.

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon when all the kids (Cal was absent yesterday) were on the airplane. That "carry-on" will cost you a lot Avi. Ha. Atley was the pilot while Nora and Svea were on the wings. :)

Next picture: Miles and Cal initially went around to the cozy corner to "hide" from Gary. Then they started reading books and playing other games. I had Miles' hair slicked back, but it dries quickly and he's not inclined to sit quietly and keep it looking nice! Haha. (That was a joke.) Following picture I took outside when Miles and Cal were the only ones here. Cal yelled, "Hey Miles! Can you pull me?!?" And so Miles went and pulled the wagon. However if you look at the front wheels you can see where the wagon was headed!

Next picture: When Avi and Svea arrived from swim lessons Miles was intently watching Avi play with the noodles and accessories. Last picture: He got up on the couch with Avi and they were playing; although he wasn't real fond of this game he still didn't complain too much. She loves playing with Miles and he loves it too.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
