Miles - 08/02/2021

Miles ate kix cereal and ate two servings of fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground turkey mixed with avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, ate tomatoes, and two servings of cherries.  

Miles and Cal reading books and being so calm and sweet!! Haha. Pictures are awesome! So here's the real story: Miles was sitting there with 3 or 4 books reading by himself. Cal scoots up, steals all the books, and whips them behind his back. Ha. No, this was not an isolated incident! They were going at each other from the moment Cal arrived. It's called "Monday Mornings!!" :)

The following three pictures of Miles this morning also include Avilene. She played with him a lot. When she was finally ready to go do something different she asked Miles is he wanted to come "watch me color." Haha. Miles had a toy in each hand and Avi wanted one of them. So she used the exact same words she's heard me use many many times; "Which one can I have; this one or this one?" Well done Avi. 

Next picture: All 6 kids: Avi brought a tub full of toys - Toy Story toys - from home to share with all her friends. The kids loved them and stayed busy all morning except for when we went outside. In this picture Avi is showing Miles how to pull the string on Woody and listen to what Woody has to say for himself. :) Following picture; Avi basically coaxed Miles into mauling her and of course Miles was delighted to do just that. Last picture: Then Avi was having Miles stand on the block shelf and she carry him to the mattress and dump him!! :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
