Miles - 08/05/2021

Miles ate raisin/cinnamon English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of ground beef, half of his whole wheat elbow noodles, ate peas, and applesauce.  

I took this first picture shortly after Miles arrived and he'd crawled up on the couch and was laying there so cute!! What a great picture. 

Next two pictures; Miles spotted a man walking his dog and stood there waving as the guy walked past without seeing Miles. I just saw the guy as he was going out of sight. Second picture: More of the same. Ha. Except this time it was the Street Cleaner going by who had no chance of seeing Miles as he was on Briggs Street. Regardless, I LOVE how friendly you are Miles and willing to greet one and all!! Lauralea would tell you that's pretty much how I operate too!! Haha.

Last picture: Miles is sitting at the table for Science with Lauralea. Haha. During the "bug lecture" segment (That's a bug term - and pun intended. I hate it when I have to identify and explain my jokes. Ha.) of class Miles found the holes in my Crocs to be way more interesting than the information about bugs!! Ha. He did poke holes in his own play dough - and never tried to put it in his mouth - with the pipe cleaner while the girls were building their bugs. :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
