Miles - 08/09/2021

Miles ate some cheerios and some banana for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate olives, avocado, and watermelon.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and everyone was happy to see that. In the first picture Avi was demonstrating to Cal and Miles how to use the little toasters. Thank you Avi; you're so good with the little people. And then Miles continued to play with one of them after Avi and Cal had moved on to something else. 

Next picture: Miles snuggling with Gary and letting me take selfies of him. :) I'm glad he was able to be here today; he wasn't totally his normal self - a bit more whiny - but overall he did fine. He was exhausted by the time we finished lunch. I see I have him squeezed in pretty snug in the picture!! :)

A couple pictures of Miles and Callahan. They were standing at the gate and Cal would say, "ready set go" and they'd run to the mattress and dive on it. Last picture: Cal laid out the doll blanket and motioned for Miles to lay down and then got up beside him. This didn't last long, but I had the camera in my hand.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
