Miles - 08/10/2021

Miles ate most of whole wheat English muffin and most of dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate most of his chicken, bites of brown rice, bites of broccoli, and ate mandarin oranges.  

First picture: Miles was playing with these toys - I don't know what they're called - and liked arranging the little people on them. Second picture: Miles and Cal were looking at books and Cal was singing "Baby Beluga." That's the name of the book he's looking at! However, one of the girls asked Alexa to play "Moana" and Cal jumped down and started singing along with that. Book reading was done and Miles followed him. :)

Last two pictures: This surprised me because I've not seen the boys play with the swivel rocker for a LONG time!! Remember how many pictures I used to Post of the boys playing with the chair!! Miles wasn't sure he wanted to play and was about to crawl out of the chair. Cal was spinning it and saying, "Don't get out Miles!! Don't get out, don't get out!" Last picture: They swapped places and Miles started pushing the chair. Cal almost immediately saying, "Go faster Miles, go faster!!" Haha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
